Flanagan: I never had my heart broken and it won’t be this valentines day

HE is no Don Juan, but Terry Flanagan has made it through life without suffering heartbreak- and he is adamant his heart will remain intact this Valentines Day.

Flanagan goes to war on the day of love against Dublin’s Stephen Ormond in Wolverhampton knowing victory will pave the way to a World title shot.

However, the British champion isn’t looking past Ormond and claims this is his World title shot.

 “Valentine’s Day is going to be heartbreak for one of us,” said Flanagan.

“I’ve never had a broken heart in my boxing career and I’m not starting tomorrow night. To me this is the world title fight, forgot fighting for the world title next, tomorrow night is my world title fight and my career and future is on the line.

“I’m the most focused and determined I’ve ever been to beat Ormond and achieve my dream of becoming a world champion.”
