Seventh Heaven for Hogan/Murphy sets up title fight

It was seventh heaven for Dennis Hogan on Friday night as he registered career win number 7 just seven days after he collected the Queensland Middleweight title in Hervey Bay PCYC  Queensland.

Like Dean Byrne in England Australian based Hogan was back in action for the second time in a week and defeated debutant Robert Clarke.

Hogan had his hand raised after a unanimous points decision and will be back out as soon November 26.
Another Irish fighter on the up Down Under, Paddy Murphy won a 4 round unanimous decision in his Welterweight bout with debutant, Kurt Finlayson. The judges scored the bout (40-36, 40-37, 40-36). Murphy improves his record to 3-0-0 and will fight for the Queensland title on November 26th.
