National Under-22 Championships Men’s Finals – RUNNING ORDER
The National Under 22 Championships conclude tonight at the National Stadium with the Men’s finals.
It is an important night, as the IABA are using the results as part of their selection process for the Irish squad that will go to the European Men’s under 22 Championships which begin in Braila, Romania on March 13th.
The Europeans return this year after a five-year absence. At the inaugural tournament in Kaliningrad, Russia in 2012 (at under 23 level), Jason Quigley and Hugh Myers won gold and silver to help Ireland finish in a top five position in the medals table.
Admission for tonight’s finals is €10 for adults and €5 for children (Under 14).
Action begins at the home of Irish boxing at 6:30pm, with the Under 22 finals taking place and being followed by the finals of the Men’s National Novices.
Club deals: €100 for 20 members (€5 each). Admission is payable at the door.
