Former Crumlin BC amateur and current UFC super star Conor McGregor claims both he and Ronda Rousey would take seconds to take Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor has already stated he would return to boxing to fight the pound for pound ring king and has this week said he would ‘dismantle’ ‘Money’.

The quotes were borne out of the recent Mayweather Ronda Rousey verbal sparring and McGregor did qualify his comments by stating the UFC would be dominant in a ‘real fight’ not a boxing match up.

“In a real fight I would dismantle [Mayweather] in seconds,” said McGregor. “Ronda would dismantle him in seconds – 100%.

“When you don’t know how to grapple you don’t stand a chance. For us, it’s like playing with a baby. People who don’t understand the sport cannot understand how vulnerable they are. There are always clinches and Ronda is a judo Olympian. She would throw Floyd on his head in a second. Me? I would knock him out. Cold,” McGregor told the Guardian.
