Dublin light welterweight Jake Hanney delivered on his promise to end a period inactivity with an eye catching performance today.

The Oz based puncher, who is eager to make up for lost time having seen four fights fall through in early 2014, caught the eye on a Punchbowl, New South Wales hosted card thanks to a devastating one punch KO.

The FBI gym fighter ensured his first scheduled six round contest didn’t make it past three as he Jye Solomon to make it three straight victories since turning pro last year.

The six round fight makes Hanney eligible to fight for the New South Wales title and he hopes to challenge for the state strap before the year is out.
