LUKE Wilton has secured a shot at the flyweight European title and been afforded the chance to become Continental ring king on March 6.
Wilton will challenge current strap holder and former foe Kevin Satchell in the Echo Arena on a Boxnation broadcast clash.
‘Winky’ has Satchell previous having fought the Liverpool lad for the British and Commonwealth title back in February of 2013.
The Belfast fighter suffered points defeat in a bout, that also played out in Satchell’s home town, but has always expressed a rematch desire.
Wilton had hoped Satchell’s move to European level would open a pathway to a second British shot, but so entertaining was Wilton v Satchell one that Frank Warren Promotions have put it on again and Wilton gets a shot at the bigger belt.
