IT DIDN’T look great when Carl Frampton suffered a 7-10 opening round, but ‘The Jackal’ pulled it out of the bag and retained his title defeating Alejandro Gonzalez Jr by a fairly wide points margin.
Scores of 115-109 and 116-108 didn’t seem shocking after the Belfast man went on to dominate the middle and majority of late rounds.
Not to mention Frampton’s cause was helped by Gonzalez Jr’s indiscipline when it came to punching below the waist.
