Warm-up bout for Michael Devine on Dublin debut

Luton lightweight Michael Devine will look to get a win on the board this weekend in Dublin ahead of a BBBoC Southern Area title shot in two weeks time.

The fighter, of Wexford descent, faces Floyd Moore for the Southern title on July 9th in Portsmouth and, understandably, his opponent on ‘The Future’ show will provide little more than an opportunity to get a win on the board and introduce himself to Irish fans.

‘Chunky’ is coming off a four-fight losing streak, stretching back to his Prizefighter final reversal to Jono Carroll in 2014, and will seek to break this run on Saturday against Latvian Daniils Kucurs [2(2)-1(1)-1].

27 year old Devine hopes to become a fixture in FS Promotions’s Dublin plans, and has expressed his strong desire for the Irish title in the near future.
