Tyson Fury gloves issue resolved – Fight is on!

After a scare yesterday, the heavyweight title clash between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko will go ahead.

Former Irish champ Fury yesterday threatened to withdraw from the Duesseldorf bout due to issues concerning the Paffen gloves mandated by Team Klitschko.

However, a resolution has been reached, and a specially-made pair of gloves will be provided for the Manchester-born boxer on fight night.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy explained that “they were messing us about big time and if we hadn’t made a public fuss with that row at the press conference the gloves wouldn’t have materialised.”
