Step up in class for Jason Quigley in his 7th fight

Donegal’s Jason Quigley [6(6)-0] will take a step up in class this weekend when he steps into the ring for the seventh time as a professional.

It has been announced that the Ballybofey middleweight, who is promoted by Golden Boy, will face Mississippi’s Tom Howard.

‘The Hitman’ holds a respectable [8(4)-3(0)] record and is a decent test for former amateur star Quigley who is looking to build himself a fanbase on the West Coast of America.

While Howard has spent his career at light middleweight, he will be the first of Quigley’s opponents to carry a winning record into the ring, and the 23 year old will be looking to cause an upset. Quigley, a year older, will be aiming to keep up his perfect streak in the paid ranks.

The pair will face off over six rounds at the L.A. Sports Arena in the early hours of Sunday morning.
