Dennis Hogan moves up in IBF rankings

Following his impressive victory over Kenny Abril in New York last month, Dennis Hogan [22(7)-0-1] has moved up in the most recent IBF light middleweight world rankings.

‘The Hurricane’ now occupies fifth position in the organisation’s ladder and will be hoping for another big win to earn himself the mandatory challenger position for Cornelius Bundrage’s belt.

The boxers ahead of the Kildare-born, Australia-based 30 year old are: former champion Austin Trout, undefeated American twins Jermell and Jermall Charlo, and British champion Liam Smith.

Hogan and his team have expressed their willingness to fight any of the fighters above him and, hopefully, there are a big few months in store for ‘The Hurricane.’
