Leinster Senior Cup
Shelbourne-2
Bluebell United-0
A goal just shy of half time and another right at the death saw Bluebell United exit the Leinster Senior Cup at the semi final stage on Monday.
The LSL Senior Sunday champions represented amateur football well in the contest, but ultimately couldn’t make the final stages.
Reigning champions Shelbourne accounted for the amateur side, but had to work hard to do so. ‘Bell were competitive throughout and where in touching distance right up and until an injury time strike put some daylight between the sides.

Two former amateur players combined to give the home side the lead on 41 minutes. Former Junior International, Kilbarrack and Darndale front man James English fired home Regions Cup winner and Crumlin favourite son Greg Moorhouse’s knock down to give Shel’s a half time lead.
