Champions sign one of Senior Sunday’s exciting attacking talents

Bluebell United have added one of the more exciting attacking talents in the LSL to their squad ahead of the title defence.

‘Bell will be looking to make it back to back title wins next term and have acquired the services of Carl Forsyth to help them achieve that goal.

Forsyth, whose brother Darren is also a respected amateur talent, was with FAI Intermediate finalists Firhouse Clover last season and becomes the second player to sign from the Tallaght club following the arrival of Mikey Doyle.

Forsyth was the star of the Keith Baker managed Greystones side and topped scored from midfield as they stayed up before the merger of the two clubs from the town.

The flair player then moved to Crumlin United and was a regular as Martin Loughran’s charges won back to back FAI Intermediate Cups.

The talented attacking player then rejoined Baker, but in the green and white of Firhouse rather than Greystones and was standout for a talented squad over the last season.

The former Bray Wanderers came off the bench against Shelbourne in the Leinster Senior Cup on Monday night.

Forsyth can play on either flank, but provides a different option at 10 and scored regular from that position when back at Greystones.
