Marco McCullough back to winning ways

Belfast’s Marco McCullough made a winning return to the ring tonight in Scotland.

Making his MGM debut at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, McCullough comfortably outpointed (60-54) durable Lithuanian Simas Volosinas.

Fighting for the first time since his Commonwealth featherweight title loss to Isaac Lowe, McCullough was in complete control throughout and landed countless heavy blows – but the rarely-stopped Baltic boxer survived to the final bell.

26 year old McCullough moves to 15(9)-3(2) with the win on the dinner show, and will now target a spot on the Belfast Boxnation show at the Titanic Exhibition Centre on November 5th.
