Loudmouth Lowe looking to KO McCullough
Isaac Lowe and Marco McCullough, have seen or spoke little of each other in the lead up to their Commonwealth featherweight title fight on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena.
This all changed however this afternoon at the Frampton-Quigg undercard press conference at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
In an otherwise quiet affair, Morecambe fighter Lowe [11(4)-0-1] had some harsh words for his Ulster counterpart.
The fighter, who expects to have cousin Tyson Fury in support at the weekend, was supremely confident of a decisive win.
“I think I have the skill to beat him, and beat him comfortably.”
“I’m gonna knock him out.”
Lowe then proceeded to heckle the softly-spoken McCullough [14(9)-2(1)] throughout the Belfast man’s time on the mic.
The outspoken youngster is slight favourite to triumph over McCullough in what is seen as an almost 50-50 fight.
The massively-supported McCullough is expected to bring a large crowd from Belfast and can also count on the support of the potentially record-breaking Carl Frampton travelling support.
