Jono Carroll made it twelve unbeaten tonight in Scotland as he ratcheted up his level of activity under MGM.

The Dunshaughlin super feather scored a points win, his second victory in five weeks, against Poland’s Damian Lawniczak on the MGM Scotland ‘Capital Punishment’ show at the Meadowbank Sports Centre in Edinburgh

Fought over six rounds, Carroll was dominant throughout, looking sharp and ready for a step up following his first fight camp in the South of Spain.

The result in no doubt, ‘King Kong’ was adjudged to have won every round on the referee’s scorecard (60:54)

The win sees Carroll improve his ledger to 12(1)-0, while the tough Lawniczak, who was the debut opponent for Eric Donovan this Summer, drops to 3(0)-20(3)-1.
