‘He’s all mouth’ – Larry Fryers says Sosa hasn’t the ‘balls’ to back up call out

Larry Fryers [11(4)-3(1)] says Adrian Sosa [11 (9)-0] hasn’t the ‘balls’ to fight him and is just dropping his name for publicity purposes.

The American recently called out the New York based Monaghan native and Boston associated Mayo man Ray Moylette.

Moylette has replied saying he is interested in the fight, suggesting it’s ideal in terms of being low risk but high reward.

‘Lethal Larry’ has gone one better, he instigated contact with Team Sosa.

Fryers let it be known that he was willing to fight the undefeated Massachusetts man – and was surprised with the response he got.

Fryers said his manager contacted Sosa’s representatives post the call out only to be told they were not interested in making a match

“He’s all talk,” Fryers told Irish-boxing.com.

“I got my manager to inquire after I seen the call out and my manager came back and said there was nothing there,” he adds before saying he is still interested in the bout.

“He’s all mouth, he is just using my name to try get himself some publicity, god love him, If ever he grows a pair and really does want to fight then I’d be more than happy to oblige.”

Fryers was set to fight Top Rank prospect, Elvis Rodriguez in Las Vegas last Saturday, only for the big punching star of the future to test positive for Covid.
