Headliners confirmed for Ginley Promotions card next month

Belfast will be Tyrone town on Saturday September 16th.

Ginley Promotions run their second pro show next month at The Devenish Complex on the Finaghy Road in West Belfast.

The two bill-toppers were confirmed this morning, with Belfast light welter Tyrone McKenna [14(6)-0-1] and Derry super bantam Tyrone McCullagh [7(4)-0] set to headline the small hall card

BUI Celtic champ McKenna stopped Dublin rivals Sean Creagh and Jake Hanney in successive fights in the past year before claiming another knockout win over journeyman Ferenc Katona last time out

2010 European bronze medalist McCullagh is looking to leave the prospect stage of his career behind and climb into title contention by year’s end.

The two MTK southpaws are great friends, and noted characters in Irish boxing circles.

Opposition for the Tyrones is still to be confirmed, but Ginley states that “tough opponents are being lined up for both men and it promises to be a quality evening of action.

The first Ginley Promotions card was run at the same venue back in March. Headlined by Anto Upton, it also featured Stephen Ormond, Ciaran McVarnock, Alfredo Meli, and McCullagh.

Undercard and ticket details will be released soon.
