Ginty and Broadhurst two of the Irish fighters in action against France tonight

Olympic Youth silver medallist Ciara Ginty and European medallist Amy Broadhurst are just two of the stars slated to line out against a strong French selection in Offaly tonight.

Lauren Hogan, Cheyanne O’Neill, Shaneen Flynn and some of the leading female prospects in Ireland will also be in action on top class St Brigid’s BC card.

The meeting with Les Bleus will be decided over 18 bouts and two nights in Edenderry.

Lauren Hogan will captain the home selection this evening. Natasha Logan will skipper the home selection tomorrow night, but will not compete after picking up an unfortunate injury.

Boxing begins at 8pm this evening.
