Conlan to excite the Stadium again ‘Mexican’ confirmed as November 7 Dublin headline act

Jamie Conlan returns to the venue he lit up in a Fight of the Year candidate in July of this year and tops MGM’s second Dublin show.

Most expected Jamie Kavanagh to headline the Dublin date, but super flyweight World title hopeful Conlan will top the Boxnation broadcast show.

‘The Mexican’, who has former World Champion Paul Butler in his sights, got up off the floor twice with the help of the Dublin crowd to out point Junior Granados in a thrilling encounter last time out and returns to the home of Irish boxing on November 7.

In a statement released today MGM confirmed,

“The November 7th event at the National Stadium will again be headlined by MGMs very own Jamie Conlan. After his pulsating win on July 4th, the Irish public and BoxNation viewers will be eager to see the exciting Belfast fighter again.”

Francis Warren speaking on behalf of Queensberry Promotions said “ The BoxNation viewers really took a shine to Jamie Conlan in July and the atmosphere that we witnessed was up there with the best we have seen. So we are delighted to work alongside MGM Promotions again.”
