Sean Turner [8(6)-0] has confirmed that he will be appearing on the November 5th Belfast Boxnation show at the Titanic Exhibition Centre.

The Dublin heavyweight also stated his desire to face former Prizefighter and Commonwealth champion, and Belfast fan-favourite, Martin Rogan [16(8)-6(4)] on the bill.

Big Sexy this evening tweeted the following:

With 25 year old Turner currently ineligible for the Irish title due to having never fought an eight rounder, and with the BUI requiring Rogan to have a comeback fight before allowing him to fight for the green belt, a possible scenario could be for Rogan and Turner to fight over eight with the winner facing off with Con Sheehan for the Irish title last held by Tyson Fury.

Turner recently scored his first win of 2016 with a second round stoppage of Valeri Semiskur in Spain and is looking for a busy conclusion to the year. Rogan has not fought since June 2014.

The card next month is headlined by Jamie Conlan who will defend his Commonwealth super flyweight title. Also confirmed for the undercard are Belfast feather Marco McCullough and Tipperary heavy Sheehan. Double Olympic bronze medalist Paddy Barnes is also heavily rumoured to be appearing on the card, while the likes of Tyrone McKenna, Lewis Crocker, and Joe Fitzpatrick look likely candidates for slots on the show.
