Jackal-bräu: Carl Frampton given personalised beer ahead of Belfast homecoming

When he’s not in training for a fight, Belfast’s Carl Frampton [23(14)-1(0)] enjoys a nice beer – so ‘The Jackal’ was a big fan of the latest gift he has received.

Frampton is just days away from his Belfast homecoming fight with Andres Gutierrez, and there will be something different about the couple of cold ones he sinks afterwards.

Ahead of the big fight on Saturday night at the SSE Odyssey Arena, Irish brewer Harp have provided the Tigers Bay legend with a crate of personalised beer.

A message from Harp explained that “we decided to create something a bit special for you. In fact, it;s the first time we’ve ever done this – we’ve created limited edition bottles – just for you!”

“We replaced our logo with a boxing ring, which we hope you like. These re not for sale anywhere and purely for you to enjoy with your mates!”

The connection comes following Frampton’s involvement in Harp’s #PureHere campaign where he unveiled a mural featuring all things Belfast on Hill Street in the city centre.
