WATCH: Carl Frampton – Public Workout – Return of The Jackal

Frampton fight week is in full swing!

Hundreds of ‘The Jackal Army’ flocked to the Victoria Square Shopping Centre in Central Belfast to see their man in action at a public workout.

The 30 year old returns to the SSE Odyssey Arena after two and a half years on the road on Saturday night when he fights Mexican Andres Gutierrez [35(25)-1(0)-1] in a WBC featherweight title eliminator.

The Jackal, and the undercard fighters, were introduced to the crowd and put through their paces in the ring.

It was by no means a strenuous workout for Frampton [23(14)-1(0)] who, following a spot of shadow boxing, did a few minutes on the pads with trainer Shane McGuigan – however it gave the Belfast faithful a chance to see their man in action after a long, long time away.
