The press conference took place today for the Matchroom ‘Belfast Boy’ card at the Hilton Hotel in the Titanic City.
The final press event ahead of Saturday night’s card at the SSE Odyssey Arena was a largely cordial affair. Following the conclusion of the talk, there were face-offs for the three main bouts on the bill.
Headlining the card will be Ryan Burnett who challenges IBF bantamweight champion Lee Haskins.
James Tennyson will look to enter the world rankings for the first time when he takes on Manchester’s Ryan Doyle, whose father hails from Dublin, for the WBA International super featherweight title.
And crowd-pleaser Paul Hyland Jr faces the toughest fight of his career yet when he takes on Adam Dingsdale for the IBF East/West Europe lightweight belt.
The six went face to face in rather respectful head-to-heads, cheered on by a good-sized Belfast crowd – which is expected to multiply for the weigh-in tomorrow at the same venue.
