Video tribute to the career of Willie Big Bang Casey

Willie ‘Big Bang’ Casey put out the fuse and called it a day last week.

The former Prizefighter winner, European Champion and WBA interim World title challenger has officially retired from boxing.

The Limerick super bantamweight enjoyed a meteoric rise in the game and looked set to become a national TV leading light ala Bernard Dunne in the early stages of his career.

However, once he lost to Cuban sensation Gullerimo Rigondeaux things slowed down and the popular southpaw’s career stalled.

Upon reflection on a whole it was a great career and the following video put together by William McNamara celebrates the positives.
