Shane McGuigan offered up an unwanted serving of ‘banter juice’ for Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn at the weekend.

The smooth-talking Hearn consistently would up Team Frampton throughout the lead up to Frampton-Quigg, and lead to the term ‘banter juice’ being added to every boxing fan’s lexicon.

To his credit, Eddie ‘panto villian’ Hearn certainly did his part to help build the hype and excitement for the PPV clash at the Manchester Arena, and the 36 year old will surely be welcomed with open arms when he returns with the Sky cameras to Belfast in the near future.

Following the decisive loss to Frampton for his fighter, a dejected Hearn spoke to IFL TV.

His interview was momentarily interrupted by a jubilant McGuigan, with the young trainer unable to resist the opportunity to videobomb the English promoter.

However there are no ill-feelings between the pair, with McGuigan and Hearn clearing up the incident on Twitter today.
