Two new fighters confirmed for next Dublin show

Irish boxing was rocked this afternoon with the cancellation of this coming Saturday’s ‘Táimid Laochra’ show.

13 Irish fighters have seen an important fight date slip away, however two of these can take solace from the fact that they will fight next month.

Kilbarrack light flyweight Lynn Harvey [3(2)-1(0)] and Lucan middleweight John Joyce [debutant] have both confirmed today that they will fight on the ‘Celtic Clash 2: The Rising’ card at the National Stadium on Saturday May 27th.

The duo join Crank Whitehouse (who was also meant to be on this weekend’s show), Stephen Carroll, Eric Donovan, and Sean Creagh on the Dublin bill which is co-promoted by Leonard Gunning and Tony Davitt.

More fighters for the bumper show are set to be announced soon, with more of the victims of this weekend’s It’s A Bout Boxing Ireland cancellation possibly featuring.

Tickets for Celtic Clash 2 will be priced at €15 (Under 15s), €30, €40, €45, and €55 (Premium), and will be available from the boxers involved in the near future.
