The card, headlined by Paul Hyland Jr v Felix Lora, will also feature Tyrone McCullagh, Feargal McCrory, Jay Byrne, Ronnie Clark, and the MGM pair.
It will be a first fight for Tims since his rematch victory over Michael Sweeney, while Gary Sweeney will be making his Irish debut on the dinner show.
Clondalkin’s Tims said “the team at MGM promised to get me busy straight away and have kept their promise, I know bigger fights are in the pipeline but I’m 100% focused on October 8th as I can’t afford any slip ups.”

Ballinrobe’s Sweeney explained that “obviously I’ve enjoyed boxing in the U.K. but this fight in Belfast makes it easier for my friends and family to come and support me.”

The duo’s management at MGM commented how “we wanted to get Timsy out as quick as we could. and are delighted to get him a fight close to home. We have a plan in place but it’s up to him now to do the business.”
