Team Ireland head to England for pre Euro training camp

Team Ireland began a five-day training camp at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield this morning.

The Irish squad, which includes Olympic medallists, Olympians, European Games, European Elite and European Union medallists and current Irish Elite champions are training with the host nation, Estonia, Italy and Norway.

Michael O’Reilly, Brendan Irvine and Sean McComb, who claimed gold silver and bronze at the recent European Games in Azerbaijan, are included in the panel.

“The squad are looking forward to getting a good training camp under their belts in Sheffield, “ said Irish head coach Billy Walsh.
