Spanish stoppage for Big Sexy Sean Turner

Dublin heavyweight Sean Turner tonight finally chalked up his first win of 2016 in the sunny South of Spain.

‘Big Sexy’ needed just two rounds to dispatch Estonian veteran Valeri Semiskur on an MGM show in Malaga.

The power of 25 year old Turner was far too much for Semiskur, who, at 41, was long past his best. The bout was scheduled for six rounds but never looked like going the distance. Nevertheless, regardless of the opponent, the force behind the shots of the continually slimming-down Turner is potent enough to trouble most in the division.

The quick win sees Turner improve his record to 8(6)-0, while Semiskur drops to 18(10)-31(24)-1.

Big Sexy will now look to ramp up the activity to close out what has been, up to now, a frustrating year.
