Ring Kings – Undercard Update – 3 Fighters Added
The return of pro boxing to Waterford has been beefed up over the Christmas period with the addition of three new fighters.
Neil Power’s inaugural card – ‘Ring Kings’ – takes place Saturday February 17th the WIT Arena and has now seven confirmed fighters.
Limerick light middleweight Graham McCormack O’Shea, Dublin welterweight John Joyce, and Cork cruiser Michael Kalilec have all been announced for the show in recent dates.
McCormack O’Shea [1(0)-0] is back in the ring less than three months after his exciting debut win over Richard Baba and the 30 year old Boxing Ireland fighter will feature in another four-rounder.
The Tom Power-trained Kalilcec [1(1)-0] debuted in London way back in March 2016 where the Shanagarry big man stopped Szabolcs Sipos in the fourth round.
Lucan’s Joyce [3(2)-0] makes a step up to six rounds on the card following an impressive debut year.
The fighters joins local trio Rohan Date, Craig McCarthy, and Barry Barnes on the card along with BUI Celtic featherweight champ Eric Donovan.
Ireland’s first show if 2018!!!! Step forward Waterford’s ‘Ring Kings’ Craig McCarthy, Rohan Daté and Barry Barnes!
This is the best promo I’ve seen for an Irish show in ages. First show south of Dublin in years and the first in #Waterford for a lifetime. pic.twitter.com/gAmV7zwiJq
