Return of the Dragon – Joe Fitzpatrick is back

Joe Fitzpatrick [10(7)-1(1)] is back in boxing.

The Belfast talent has signed a deal with Robbie Flynn and makes the likes of Kate Radomska and Dee Allen his stablemates.

The former BUI Celtic Champion hasn’t been seen in the ring since suffering stoppage defeat to Gary Cully in an eagerly anticipated Irish title fight in February of 2020.

Having previously worked with Mark Dunlop and Boxing Ireland, he teamed up with Warren Boxing management post that defeat but has been almost three years out of the ring.

The Immaculate BC graduate was due to fight Craig Woodruff for the vacant BBBofC Celtic title in Cardiff in September of last year but that fight fell through relatively close to when it was to play out.

It’s been all quiet on the Fitzpatrick front since, but the mercurial talent is set for a return after Waterford’s Fylnn teamed up with WBM to guide his career.

A comeback fight on a big card should be confirmed very soon.
