Lynn ‘The Hunter’ Harvey [1(1)-0] will take a step up on November 5th both in terms of rounds and opponent.

The 35 year old Kilbarrack flyweight makes the move to six rounds in just her second fight on the Red Corner Promotions show at the National Stadium in Dublin.

Facing her on the South Circular Road will be Spaniard Mary Romero [1(0)-2(0)]. The 31 year old bantamweight, an elusive counter-puncher, fights out of the same gym as former IBF super bantamweight World champion Kiko Martinez and last year went the distance with Melania Sorroche – who would challenge for the WBA 118lbs title in her next fight. Also an accomplished kick-boxer, the Spaniard lost last time out to Russian bantamweight prospect Tatyana Zrazhevskaya. As an amateur Romero twice shared the ring with Katie Taylor in 2011 in non-tournament bouts, one of which was on the Guillermo Rigondeaux-Willie Casey undercard.

A bigger, better, opponent than her last foe, Romero should give the heavy-handed Harvey some much-needed ring time following her 59 second debut win over Ivana Yaneva last year.

The Dubliner will feature prominently on th show next month which also features her Celtic Warrior gym-mates Luke Keeler, Steve Collins Jr, Niall Kennedy, and Bernard Roe, as well as Eric Donovan, Darren Mangan, Feargal McCrory, Connor Coyle, and Crank Whitehouse.
