Raging Bull Darren Corbett to return to the ring next month

BIG punching Belfast big man Darren Corrbett will come out of retirement on September 12.

The former Irish and Commonwealth cruiserweight champion will trade leather at the Devinish in Belfast on a Malta Boxing Commission show.

The 43 year old was last seen in the ring against Conal Carmichael in 2012 were he retired with an ankle injury after just round.

‘The Raging Bull’s’ last win came in 2010 when he beat John Anthony in Prizefighter and at 43 there are those who would suggest the entertaining big man has achieved enough in boxing and should stay retired.

Also appearing on the Devinish Card will be Tommy Tolan, Joe Hillerby, John Waldron, Conor Doherty, Darren Mangan, Padrigh McCory and Mark Morris.
