New opponent for Conrad Cummings on Frampton-Quigg undercard

Conrad Cummings will have to contend with a late change of opponent on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena.

The 24 year old Tyrone middleweight was due to fight Georgia’s Giga Nadiradze [18(9)-7(3)-1] on the undercard of stable mate Carl Frampton’s PPV World title unification with Scott Quigg.

However, Cummings confirmed via social media that the Eastern European boxer will be unable to fight at the weekend due to visa complications.

As a replacement, Cyclone Promotions have drafted in Frenchman Victor Garcia. The Gallic fighter will carry a 8(0)-6(2)-3 record into the ring. The 26 year old will be fighting outside his homeland for the first time as a pro.

For any fans wishing to see ‘Dynamite’ Cummings in action, be sure to arrive at the venue early as the Coalisland puncher is expected to be in the ring before 7pm.
