New MGM date for Hutchinson

‘The Buncrana Banger’ John Hutchinson will continue on the comeback trail next month.

The Donegal middleweight will fight at the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre in Solihull on the inaugural MGM Birmingham show on July 9th.

Hutchinson [6(1)-2(0)-2] returned to action in May following over 18 months out with a points win over Darryl Sharp at the Holte Suite in Villa Park.

An opponent for next month’s fight has yet to be announced.

Headlining the card is the return Birmingham Dub Michael Rooney [9(1)-0)]. The lightweight was stopped in the first round of his BBBoC Midlands Area title fight with Marcus Ffrench (who is also on this card) on the undercard of the Eggington-Skeete Matchroom show in March
