Red Corner confirm February headliner

Dublin outfit Red Corner Promotions have tonight confirmed the headliner for their second show at the National Stadium on Saturday February 25th.

Luke Keeler [11(5)-2(1)] has been again announced as headliner for the ‘Unfinished Business’ card.

Keeler headlined the inaugural Red Corner show, ‘Inception,’ last November, where he scored a career-best win over Bradley Pryce. The 29 year old Dubliner outpointed (78:73) the Welshman, knocking him down heavily in the second round.

The fight will be against a European-ranked opponent who will be confirmed in the near future, with Keeler setting the blue belt as a 2017 target.

The Celtic Warriors Gym puncher is looking to have a big 2017 and the fight date is hoped to be the first of many, and with Matchroom eyeing shows in Ireland Keeler will be in line to feature.

Keeler described how he is “truly blessed with the opportunity of fighting in front of my home town, friends and family thanks to Red Corner Promotions, Paschal, and all the Team in Celtic Warriors. 2017 will be my year – regular fights ahead of me, a plan in place, just left to me to deliver and the supporters to back the shows.”

Red Corner Promotions added that “this fight will be a real step up for Luke & it’s one he should handle comfortably. This will be an explosive night so make sure you’re there as it’s not to be missed.”

Also set to appear on the card are Eric Donovan, Chris Blaney, Craig O’Brien, Jake Hanney, Noely Murphy, Allan Phelan, and Connor Coyle.
