Micheal O’Reilly in Semi final action today

Portlaoise BC middleweight Michael O’Reilly will be in action in the Strandja Memorial semi-finals at approximately 2pm today (Irish time) in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The current Irish Elite champion meets Kazakhstan’s Rustan Syoyev in the last-four in the Bulgarian capital in a repeat of the 2014 Feliks Stamm quarter-final which the Kazakh edged on a split decision in Warsaw, Poland.

O’Reilly will be taking home at least bronze from the tournament. The finals will be decided tomorrow.
