JAMIE Conlan will get a taste of Hollywood on the massive Titanic Showdown card as originally opponent Filipino “Flash” Daryl Basadre has been replaced by Jose ‘Hollywood’ Estrella.
Conlan was meant to face the Filipino prospect on the undercard of Carl Frampton’ versus Kiko Martinez II this coming Saturday.
However Basadre has pulled out after suffering an injury in sparring and come forward Mexican Estrella, who has 10 Ko’s in 14 wins and has only been stopped twice in five defeats steps in.
The WBO Inter-Continental title remains on the line and the super flyweight still has the chance to move further up the WBO world rankings.
Basadre suffered the injury nigh on a month ago, but was hoping to shake it off and fight in Belfast. Estrella was immediately lined as a stand by so has had sufficient notice for the bout and is not your average last minute replacement.
