McVarnock back in action on Matthews v Gethin’s under card

WHILE a host of Belfast fight prospects will be trading leather in their home town on May 10, Ciaran McVarnock will be looking to double his win tally in Liverpool.

The Belfast super featherweight fights for only the second time as a pro when he takes on a yet to be confirmed opponent on the Boxnation broadcast card.

‘Bunty’ made a successful start to pro life Ivan Ruiz Garrido in the Echo Arena last December and will be hoping for a second pro win on the undercard of Derry Matthews and Martin Gethin’s Commonwealth title fight.
