WATCH: Declan Geraghty’s easy win in Scotland

Declan Geraghty strolled through his first eight rounder on Saturday night.

The Dubliner barely got out of second gear during an 80:72 points win over Johnson Tellez in Glasgow, negating and overcoming the Central American’s rough-house style with ease.

The victory sees Geraghty move to 13(3)-1(0) and, more importantly, become eligible to fight for titles. One such clash could be an Irish super featherweight title bout with Ciaran McVarnock, which was approved by the Boxing Union of Ireland last week.
