BARRY McGuigan claims the venue to host Carl Frampton’s World title challenge on September 6 is ‘Incredible’.
The Cyclone Promotions CEO and Irish boxing legend wasn’t leaking the venue ahead of tomorrow’s press conference, but assured it is worthy of the biggest fight to come to Ireland since the Collins Eubank bouts.
“We have worked tirelessly to secure the most incredible venue that will match – we believe – an incredible fight,” said the former World Champion.
The press conference will also see Frampton and IBF World champion Kiko Martínez meet face-to-face for the first time since their February 2013 European title fight and McGuigan has called on ‘The Jackal’ Army to come in force and show their support for the Belfast fighter.
“We want as many people as possible to come down and see them head-to-head and to support Frampton,” McGuigan added.
The venue will be announced at Titanic Belfast at 1pm on tomorrow (Tuesday).
