Lewis Crocker links up with team behind Kell Brook

Lewis Crocker has linked up with the premier boxing strength and conditioning outfit as the Belfast youngster looks to progress his promising career.

The Sandy Row welterweight has taken on board the Boxing Science institute in Sheffield, announcing a link up yesterday.

Boxing Science are, notably, the team behind Kell Brook and have worked with over 100 other top British boxers.

The outfit, ran by Alan Ruddock and Danny Wilson, have been in operation for five years, beginning with Kell Brook but expanding rapidly since then.

Crocker [3(3)-0] was out in Sheffield for testing and tailored programmes yesterday – however he will still be trained by Ray Ginley at the Immanuel Boxing Academy in West Belfast.

The 20 year old will fight again next month, on the ‘Frampton Reborn’ bill at the SSE Odyssey Arena on November 18th.

Managed by Mack The Knife Global and promoted by Frank Warren – Crocker debuted in March, and has scored three huge knockouts in his pro career thus far.
