In what is fast becoming debut year to remember, Dominic Donegan [3(1)-0] is packing his bags for fight number four of 2019.

The Cavan light middleweight, it has been confirmed, will fight on a major card in Spain next month. Donegan will box on a Maravilla Box card on Saturday December 7th at the Polideportivo Vicente Trueba in Torrelavega.

The fight will see the Drumgoon army man step up to six rounds against a to-be-confirmed opponent.

The Boxing Ireland Promotions fighter was last in action on Celtic Clash 9 in Belfast last month. Here he eased past Kristaps Zulgis and he will return to the ring once more this year as he looks to set up a 2020 filled with domestic fights.

The card in Cantabria is promoted by former world champ Sergio Martinez, is headlined by European light middleweight champion Sergio Garcia – who defends versus Frenchman Fouad El Massoudi – and also features Irish favourite Kiko Martinez.
