Cork welterweight Noely Murphy [7(2)-0] will have an Irish homecoming early next year.

The Macroom fighter is based in Woodlawn, New York, but will make the trip back across the Atlantic to appear on the second show ran by Red Corner Promotions, believed to be taking place in February 2017.

The Lou DiBella-promoted fighter last weekend moved to seven unbeaten with a career-best win over Mohamed Allam at the Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut.

The 22 year old is the first fighter to be confirmed for the next Red Corner show, and more announcements are expected in the coming days.

Red Corner commented that “Noel is a top operator and we’re really excited to be working with Team Murphy in helping build his brand and recognition amongst Irish fight fans.”

The promotional newcomers ran their first show, ‘Inception,’ earlier this month at the National Stadium with great success.
