Irish boxers ready to compete in the Bundesliga
London 2012 Olympian Adam Nolan, George Bates and James Cleary departed for Germany this morning.
The Irish trio will compete in the German Bundesliga which begins in Bremen Saturday.
Nolan, a keen Liverpool fan, always wanted to compete in the Bundesliga (German leagues)!
āYeah, Iāve heard from the boys in the Stadium that itās a very tough tournament. Myself, George and James will have one fight each and weāll be looking to make an impression, he said.
āThis will be my first competitive fight since the Seniors and Iām looking forward to it.ā
The squad are due to arrive home on March 15.
Dmitry Dmitruk will be working Irelandās corner in Bremen.
