If you fight angry you lose says Frampton

Carl Frampton is well aware he has to keep his cool to be red hot in the ring this Saturday.

‘The Jackal’ has had to deal with more mind games than even ahead of his World title fight with Scott Quigg set for Manchester this weekend as Team Quigg attempt to get under his skin.

We have argued a somewhat disgruntled Frampton is a beast you don’t want to mess with, but the IBF super bantamweight champion of the World is adamant he will be cucumber cool when he enters the ring this weekend.

Speaking in a brilliant interview with the Irish Times The undefeated 29 year old World champion said,

“As soon as you enter the ring filled with anger, you’ve lost. Boxing is a game that relies on concentration and analysis. I am constantly reacting and adapting. Every part of my brain is channelled on the task at hand, I have full respect for Scott, and I know I have to be at my best.”
