Hyland to fight in Ireland for the first time since 2011

IT has been billed as the ‘Return of the Mack’ as Matthew Macklin brings big time boxing back to Dublin on November 15, but the Matchroom card will see the homecoming of another Irish fighter.

Patrick Hyland will fight in Ireland for the first time since August 2012 and in his home town of Dublin for the first time since June of the same year.

‘The Punisher’ has secured a bout against a yet to be named opponent on the Sky Sports broadcast show and will be hoping to impress the camera’s and his home fans after returning from America.

Hyland, who suffered a frustrating 19 months out of the ring after proving his World credentials by pushing Javier Fortuna close in late 2012, registered Noel Echevarria in America last time out, but returns home next month.
