Hillerby dances to fourth victory

Joe Hillerby pushed his professional record to 4-0 with a 39-38 victory over Iain Jackson (1-5) in Luton on Sunday afternoon.
The 23 year old Belfast native was on song in Liquid Night Club boxing beautifully in the opening two stanzas. However he got drawn into a brawl in round 3 giving his opponent passage back into the fight.
But Hillerby finished out the fight strongly and ensured his fourth straight pro win with a strong final 3 minutes.
“It was a good scrap. I boxed lovely the first two rounds, but got into a bit of a scrap in the third. He was a very awkward opponent he ducks and covers an awful lot. It was hard to get your shots off, but job done. I hope to be back out October” Hillerby told www.irish-boxing.com.
