Friendship over – War of words erupts between ‘Big Sexy’ and ‘Big Rogie’

The once-good relationship between Irish heavyweight duo Martin Rogan and Sean Turner has been left in tatters, following a vicious online spat over the weekend. The pair had long been friends but the relationship has now seeming soured with Turner remarking “I thought it was friendly banter between us until today.”

On Friday a social media war broke out, with ‘Big Sexy’ claiming that ‘Big Rogie’ was hiding behind his twitter followers and that “the old man can’t fight his own battles” and therefore “that is why I’m going to knock him out.”

Continuing his salvo, the MGM-promoter fighter ordered the former black cab driver to “get back to your taxi, your time will come.”

44 year old Rogan hit back with venom, declaring Turner “a waste of time” and a “mouthpiece” before telling him and MGM to “get lost.”

The Dubliner was not impressed, and told Rogan to “go away you bum, you’re old news.”

The former Prizefighter winner then accused Turner of having “lost the plot” and that he is now “of no importance to me.”

When accused again of hiding behind his fans, Rogan believed that this was ironic coming from “a mouth that talks a good fight.”

Incensed, Turner promised Rogan that he will “make it my business to retire you as soon as possible – I’m I’m not wasting my time with you c*ck.”

By now, Rogan was furious, and told the 24 year old Dub to “man up or shut up” as “you have pissed me off and abused me for nothing – you have made me angry.”

Turner, referring to sparring sessions between the pair two years ago, declared that “I’m going to knock you out AGAIN so just wait your turn – did I knock the brains out of your head?”

The Belfast veteran did not appreciate this, and told Turner to “stop sniffing glue, you have grown a pair of false balls since you went to Spain, you headcase.”

Turner would later issue an apology which Rogan accepted, but the feud roared back the very next day with Rogan telling the Spanish-based fighter to “grow a pair and get your clown team to make the fight – don’t be an idiot like they are.”

Turner replied with gusto, promising to “retire you back into your taxi – I’m taking over the heavyweight division, you’re not.”

Always one for a joke, Rogan then told the young heavyweight that “if you continue to talk crap I will put you over my knee and smack your big XXXL ass.”

Turner would respond by calling ‘Big Rogie’ an OAP and that he is “looking for a pay day” and, if the pair meet, Rogan “will earn your money the hard way, when I knock you out again.”

Rogan then accused Turner’s manager, Daniel Kinahan, of not wanting to make the fight before concluded by ordering Turner to “give us all peace from you calling people out and making an ass of yourself” before adding “good luck with your next journeyman”

Turner however would throw the last verbal blow, telling the Belfast boxer that “you will be my next journey man…”

Soon after pair would return once more to play jokers with the following tweets

There are sure to be plenty more back-in-forths in the future as the hype for the Irish heavyweight clash continues to grow.
